Wow have I been so busy! Sorry for totally abandoning my dA page lol... I'll try to post more often. I tend to say that alot though haha

I have so much to do before October 1st! So here are some of the projects I'm working on, presently or upcoming.
First of all, I have 6 commissions on the go right now. I have a canvas I'm working on for a friend with a concert theme, I'm using a pic from the Linkin Park concert we went to in February in Montreal (which was awesome btw!!). I'm about half way done, I'll post it eventually lol.
I have 3 pairs of shoes to do, 2 music themed, 1 steam punk. I will be starting those next week.
A colleague wants a hat designed for her husband, not sure what she wants yet tho.
A friend randomly sent me a Facebook message the other day asking for me to do a small canvas similar to the coral reef painting I did about a year ago. I'm also currently working on a charity art piece, to be auctioned off for mental illness. It has to be done by September 1st.
Also, I have a pending order from someone I met at an art show, who wants to get his friend a custom designed wedding gift.

Besides commissions, I have 3 upcoming art shows. One is at Mercury Lounge, downtown in the Ottawa market on September 11th 7-10pm. I am hoping to have a few new pieces for that show. I just placed an order for white ties online in bulk, so I'm hoping i can have at least a few done in time for that show. I am also in the process of getting new business cards designed. I am getting double sided cards, and the design is so sick, I can't wait for them to be printed! I'll post the image that will be on the back. I'm also contemplating on getting Dr. Shorty T-shirts done for me and those who help me at the shows. That is still in the thought process tho...
The second AND third art show are on October 1st! ....in different cities!!! I was contacted a few months ago by the owner of the Cornwall Regional Art Gallery (whom I haven't spoken to in about 4 years). She asked me if I would want to be part of their Culture Days, which is a 2 day, outdoor art exhibit. I figured there was no harm in that, and since my parents live there, I could stay with them for the weekend... but then last week I discovered that the Basement Artist show that is booked for October at Babylon Nightclub, 317 Bank St, Ottawa, is ALSO booked for October 1st. AS IF! Not wanting to back out of either show, I decided that I will go to Cornwall for the 2 day exhibit. And my brother and my friend will be representing me in Ottawa at Babylon. This means I have to DOUBLE my stock in the next month and a half! In order to have enough stuff to present at both shows, and in case something sells, I need to work my ass off!!! So I am going to get 2 photo books going, both with the other stock's art in it. I am going to have be extremely organized, and no time for procrastinating! LOL. I just bought a 12 pack of AMP Energy drinks, so I'm all set.

So anyways, besides working full time, and now all this sudden need to do a lot of art, I guess I can pretty much say goodbye to summer and longboarding every night lol... when it rains, it POURS!

So I probably won't be on here too much for the next little while... but after the October shows, I'll be sure to post all the new stock.
